For those of you who like the secondary skill, but have trouble finding good areas to finish, or for those who cant stand it but level it never the less because it is a skill. I give you, a key for fishing areas broken down by level. ( Outlands is not included in this key. )

In addition to the starting areas mentioned above, ponds and rivers in main cities like Stormwind, Darnassus and Orgrimmar also require skill 1-50. And actually, the maximum skill is redundant, since you can skill up your fishing from 1 to 300 in the same pond. The area you fish in only determines the sort of fish you'll catch, and your skill of course determines in what area you can fish.
