Please do NOT ask guildies to gather a group and then run off to a raid. That is poor taste, poor style and just plain crass. You make your guildie look like an ass and to some degree the guild. One's word should be one's bond. What makes it even more repugnant is the person SENT me a tell and then blew it off to sit in the QUEUE for a raid.

Well it wasn't a guildie but this is also really rude behaviour. I was sent 5 different tells to see if I wanted to join a pug. 3 times when I got to the raid site I was told that they didn't want me because my armor wasn't good enough. Now I just reply with "No Thanks"

Well it won't happen to me again from this person. But this should be a wake up call to those who shout out for help then make people wait while they level up or just bail because something better is coming up. I really truly hope Molten Core was worth losing a guildie for all groups to this person. /shrug
And the equipment snobbery is beyond me. I think this fascination with "you must be or have" really misses the point of different builds, abilities and playstyle. I too pass on groups that show that tendency although I still am at the mercy of PuGs for the moment.
