The death of Shamans!
Having played the horde side for awhile and especially the shaman class this change is the end of shamans in the end game, (except maybe PvP).
Who the hell in a raid would want a shaman over a paladin. Shamans fill the same role in raids, being the healer/buffer (with totems). But they are extremely mana ineffiecient, wear mail and their buffs affect their direct party, but dont move with them and only last 2 minutes, which leads to why they cant burn mana efficiently.
In our current 40 man raids it isnt uncommon to have 8-10 shamans, but I couldnt see a reason to have more than three if you could put 8 paladins in your raid.
At least they will still rock in PvP, but their raid career will come to an abrupt end when this goes in.

Shaman - revamp ! Look for it. I would think it would be nice to have something different.
You could be correct for the Horde side. There are plenty of pallies in the alliance so a few Shaman will not put a dent in their roll.
