Hey Niamb,
I know you are on vacation, but with us having Domo on farm status it's just a matter of time before I win a roll for the eye. At that point I'll be ready to do the quest to get my Benediction. I know that's a tough quest, and was wondering if you can tell me how you got yours so I can use a similar tactic to get mine.

It was a very tough quest for me and I have done it twice, once on Niamb and once on Drya. I failed multiple times on both characters, but got it in the end.
The key for me was having friends along. I was never able to do it alone. When I did it with Niamb. I had two friends standing by the hill of the quest giver and they attracted some of the aggro from the skeletons, even though they could not see them. I came eqipped with all the buffs I could get, oil of immolation and holy water.
In the second case I did it with another priest. We both had the Caer Darrow eye equipped which allowed us to see the skeletons, as the Eye of Divinity was bugged and didn't allow either of us to see the quest giver. This bug has been fixed however. First I stood near the quest giver and took over healing as the peasants reached the end...without moving....while she ran back and picked up healing the next group. Then we switched. I tried to help another priest in this way and the Caer Darrow eye no longer allows you to see the peasants and skellies, though I still attracted aggro. Drya is also specced for Holy Nova (think that's what it's called) and was able to use this damage/healing spell to her advantage as well. It is a mana hog though and running out of mana is big problem.
I'll be glad to help in any way that I can and I think positioning friends along the way to attract aggro from the skellies might be a good strategy. I know this was a very, very hard quest for me to complete.

Thanks kid. I was able to get my staff yesterday. Gorte from Solace gave me a winning solo strat to get it done and I almost completed it the first try.
It actually took me three tries though.
The second two were with another priest. I stood at the edge of the spawn area and cured the disease and renewed. The other priest stood at the far end and kept them alive as they walked toward him and past.
Skeletons agro'd on me almost immediately, but nothing that my holy nova couldn't handle.
Using the lower level spells allowed me to keep my mana for the whole fight, with no need for a mana pot.
If any other priests in the guild wind up with the eye and need help on the quest, let me know.

That is awesome!!!! Mega grats on getting an awesome priest staff.
Question...how was the other priest able to see the peasants and skellies? Your strategy is the one I used with Drya, but it was the Caer Darrow spectral trinket that allowed the other priest to see what was going on. I later tried to help another priest with that quest and the spectral trinket no longer worked outside of Caer Darrow (not even to see the quest giver in the Scholomance building).
I read that they fixed the bug where you could not see the Scholo quest giver. Did that make the spectral trinket work for the other priest or did he also have the Eye of Divinity?

We both had the eye of divinity. I guess I should have made that clear in my post.

P.S. Nope, you can't borrow it, it's mine do you hear, MINE.
