Well for those that have been following the issues over the past few days, there has been a dramatic turn of events.
Jordis and I had a chance to discuss some things and have come to a common agreement that all that has transpired between he and I was initiated by a series of misunderstandings. When we knew each other in past games we were comrades in arms, we had grouped together and helped each other. For us to be at odds in this game was not what either of us had come to expect of the other. Knowing that we worked together to find what had been at the crux of the current problems we were having.
Once we discovered this fact, we were able to talk over what has transpired and both of us have agreed that none of it would have taken place had outside influences not been involved.
With that said, he and I will be working together once again, to try to remedy the problems within the guild that both of us have come to know and love.
I’m hoping that the recent headway we’ve made in understanding the problem will allow Jordis and some of the others that have left the guild in the past few days to be able to once again feel that DoJ is a guild they want to be involved in, and in turn will bring their characters back to DoJ.
If they do make that decision, I would consider it an honor and a pleasure to be the one that adds them to the roster.
In closing, I’d like to say thank you to Jordis for initiating the dialog that has led to this new understanding. Without his taking the first step toward resolution myself, and the DoJ as a whole would have been hard pressed to recover quickly.
