Ubisoft's second free game is Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell.

"Like last month’s free game (Prince of Persia: Sands of Time), you’ll be getting the full game and it’ll be yours to keep even after the promo is over. Even if you aren’t interested in playing (or replaying) Splinter Cell right now, there’s no harm in going ahead and securing it now should you change your mind in the future.

Unfortunately, if you missed out on your chance to get Prince of Persia, you’re out of luck – once it’s gone, it’s gone. But with five months remaining in the promotion, there’s still plenty of time to score some classics."

Ubisoft's third free game is 'Rayman Origins'.

Rayman Origins is the fourth main installment in the Raymond franchise. It was originally released in November 2011 for PlayStation 3, Nintendo’s Wii and the Xbox 360 before finding its way to the PC in early 2012. Despite its age, the platformer still looks great to this day thanks to its vibrant art style.

Like the other two titles, you’ll need to install (or launch, if you already have it) Uplay, Ubisoft’s digital distribution platform. Again, just like the other titles, this is a full game download, not a trial or demo. So long as you download it, it’s yours to keep indefinitely, even after the promotion is long and gone.

Ubisoft's free game for September is 'The Crew'.

Ubisoft’s generosity continues in September with yet another game available to download and keep free of charge. Unlike earlier games in the promotion, this month’s freebie is a relatively new title.

Now through mid-October, you can score racing game The Crew courtesy of Ubisoft. To get it, you’ll first need to download and install Ubisoft’s digital distribution platform, Uplay (assuming you don’t already have it installed).

The Crew, from Ubisoft Reflections and Ivory Tower, made its debut in December 2014 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (it was also ported to the Xbox 360). It’s described as an online racing game with an open and persistent world in which players can race and free-roam. Although I haven’t played it (a bit ironic since racing games are my genre of choice), it sounds similar to the concept behind Forza Horizon.

Ubisoft's free game for October is 'Beyond Good and Evil'.

Ubisoft’s free game for the month of October is Beyond Good and Evil, a third-person action-adventure game that debuted in 2003 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and Windows PC before finding its way to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011.
Beyond Good and Evil wasn’t really a commercial success but as Kotaku highlights, the game developed a devoted legion of fans and ultimately became a cult classic. It’s available as of writing from Steam for $9.99 but Ubisoft wants you to have it for free.

Ubisoft is offering seven PC games for free this weekend; the same seven games that Ubisoft offered through its 30th anniversary celebrations over the past couple of months. If you missed out on downloading any of those games, now is the time to claim your free copy.

The games offered by Ubisoft are as follows:

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell
Rayman Origins
The Crew
Beyond Good & Evil
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
Assassin's Creed III

These games will be available for free as part of a "Special Weekend" that runs from today (December 15th) through to Sunday December 18th. To claim these games, head over to the Ubisoft Club and log in to your Ubisoft account, then click 'Get Your Bundle'. When you've done this, all seven games will automatically be added to your Ubisoft account and will be available to download and play through Uplay.

Even if you don't manage to grab any of these games by December 18th, Assassin's Creed III will still be available for free until the end of December. Considering these free game offers were specifically linked to Ubisoft's 30th anniversary, it's unlikely we'll see a similar selection of free games in 2017.
