Most of you know I was unemployed for a very long time and just recently got a job in midtown Manhattan with a big real estate development firm as a software developer. Anyway I have not been able to play at all. I tried to log in on Tuesday and it said I was banned? What possibly could I have done. I got an email from Turbine saying there was shady activity on my account and they thought a 3rd party hacked me so the banned it to protect me. So right now I'm running Malwarebytes and changing all my passwords and such. Did any of you guys see me logged in during the last 3 weeks? I'm afraid of what i'm gonna find when I get back on. I'll be VERY upset if any characters were deleted. Is there any recourse if I lost everything? I guess i'll know more when I finally get in. Hopefully see you guys soon. Jay

The kinship list says Apollodor last logged out 8 days ago in Esteldin. Saatin 8 days ago, logged out in Thorins Hall. Prison 21days in Estilden. Add a day I think depending on time of day. Did you contact Turbine through support.turbine.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=24001 ? I don't think the link will forward through the pages correctly so you will probably have to root through the turbine web pages. There is info in the pages there that will tell you exactly what to do and who to contact. Yes they do have a way to restore some stuff, especially characters. I would use the contacts on the linked web page above and not any in the email from Turbine unless you are positive it's from Turbine. It's really hard to tell the difference between a fake letter and a real one. Really sorry to hear about this. I'll keep checking this post in case there is anything else you need.

I was away for a week so I wasn't on when the characters were last logged in. In the past Turbine reimbursement policy was pretty limiting and gave you some arbitrary cash value for your items. If you were truly hacked, anything that wasn't bound in someway was likely sold for cash such as resources and armor. I believe this is their most recent updated policy forums.lotro.com/showthread.php?375587-In-Game-Support-Reimbursement-Policy-Update
