So customer support is a joke. I contacted them and was told it would take 4-6 weeks for them to upgrade my account to vip even though Ive already paid.
I've decided to wait til they fix it to play again so I can get the quests without having to pay to unlock it.

Over an hour and I live in the same state so no long distance charges

Wow. I'll probably post on the forums about this and see how long it takes for them to suspend my account too heh. That's unacceptable by any standard.

It just doesn't make any sense. When you upgrade it is supposed to be instant or in the very least log out and back in. If you could tolerate I'd call back and demand to speak to a supervisor or at least someone that isn't one of the low paid lackey's they got working there.
Don't bother posting on the forums it'll just get locked or deleted without so much as an explanation.
Another thing to NOT do is reverse the charge on your CC. Turbine will perma ban the account and block the card. Something to do with the fees they get hit with,

Apparently there is an issue if your account had no time left on it but was once considered vip. People trying to update credit card information are having the same problem.
If I had time left when I applied the card it would have gone through with no issue at all. I complained to the BBB if that really matters.
