So if any of you have played this back in the day, when it was still up and running, you would know it's one of the best MMO's that ever exsisted. The emu has finally matured into almost completely working version of the original. A player wipe and new server, with new features starts on Monday, Jan 25 2010. I would love to see you guys give it a try. It's a spaceship/space based MMO, with amazing crafting, graphics, etc. www.enb-emulator.comInfo on the game: www.earthandbeyond.caIf you need help getting it installed, just respond here.

That's an interesting development.
I don't think it was all that great of a game. They made you spend a lot of time on space travel and you just blow up random spaceships/space creatures to get experience. There was little player-vs-player interaction and few interesting or fun quests. The space stations all looked alike and were sparsely populated..

I guess you didnt play it that much. =) Its completely the opposite. I still have the box and CDs and that's how I remember it. www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/earthbeyond/review.html"You'll spend the majority of your time warping from location to location" -Gamespot To each his or her own... It would be cool if someone could do this game right though. edit: I've been checking out the emu site. It is impressive that they've accomplished so much. How well does the game play work?

Almost everything works. They even added 3 new classes that EA intended to before they shut it down. I'm very much enjoying playing again after all these years.
