I have sent a similar message as two kinship mailings today so this will just be a reminder to people and also for people who haven't logged in lately.
As we decide on a location for the kinship house I will also be taking donations toward the kinship house as the kinship leader is the only one who can place it. I'm looking for a total kin donation amount of 18 gold just to be on the safe side. This will cover cost of the house, 3 chests, and initial maintenance costs(any extra towards stuff for house and future maintenance to).
Donations are voluntary but desired, I won't yell at anyone . Lower level characters, cash is hard so don't get bent out of shape if one can't give anything. Send anything to Terina (and watch as she gets banned for being a gold seller/buyer j/k ).
I will keep track of who gives what so if we don't reach the needed goal I can return the money or keep towards when we can place the kinship hall, whatever the donating person desires.
-----------------------
Everyone in the kinship as it stands now will have access to the house and chests. Currently as far as I know there is no way to divide access to chests so it is all or nothing.
Please DO NOT use them as your personal storage or leave anything extremely valuable in them. I am sure we can trust everyone but you just never know and it is better to be safe. I don't want any stinkin' drama!
Just use them as a place to transfer stuff to kinmates, between alt characters or just to give stuff to whoever.
---------------------
Decorations and making place homely heh. I'll give access to volunteers for this whoever wants to do it really since it can be expensive after a bit.
--------------------
Initiation fees-
There MIGHT(as in not definite) be an initiation fee for any new members and current members to in the future to help with maintenance. Really need to discuss this though.
We did it in SWG though to support the town. Just a 1 time thing that will be minor to help with maintaining the house as they seem to be increasing rent costs. It won't be anything that a level 30 character can't afford(or big time crafter for that matter).
Yes I realize this is contrary to the above voluntary donation part to just get the house. We'll figure something out . Probably those who put towards initial house cost be exempt *shrugs*.
----------------
okay, this should be interesting *suddenly gets -50 karma*.
