You know how I feel about forced grouping.
My question is: has anything changed in the game, when my level is capped and my skills are maxed out will I still be able to progress without grouping?

In one word, NO!!! Now the long version The 'end' is still a work in progress. You can get to 40 pretty much solo and be totally anti social lol, but 40+ and the increased xp for levels it just gets brutal. Also don't plan on ever solo'ing in monster play, that would just be foolhardy, maybe if you played at 4am heh. Honestly I don't know what you would do at max 50 other then randomly help people in the guild or grind away on crafting as I know you don't like pvp. Oh you can go for all the traits and stuff you missed along the way but that'd put you to sleep heh. ------ Turbine does seem pretty faithful in putting in a lot of solo content for people though. The june update added massive amounts of quests and things to do to advance through the 30's. Tons of quests were solo with maybe a handful that are groups(with one being downright absurd  ). The august content update is supposed to open a whole new section of the area recently added that will have higher level quests (likely level 40+) to solo or group and an entire epic book that can be done partly solo or with a couple people (not a big group). There will also be another zone added but a small one, I'd say probably in the lower level areas to give more options. ===== |
