Apologies for the cross linking, but I know Marna on the LOTRO boards is a member of this guild so I'm hoping she sees this. Concerning this thread (I'm an EU player so cant post there and its driving me nuts) forums.lotro.com/showthread.php?t=56613&page=2I'm a rather avid monster player and I see your comments about skills etc not being altered or balanced for Freeps, I think this is a great idea (essential to the games longevity imo), but equally I dont like the idea of monster meals having a "get out of jail free card" either. Perhaps simply disabling certain skills in Ettenmoor would keep both parties happy? Freep skills remain unaltered in the 'wild', but they have no get out of jail free card if they sign onto the PvP train? Apologies for cluttering up your boards chaps, this is the only way I can think of to contribute to the official boards discussion which is close to my heart. thanks for your time.

both Creeps and freeps have escape skills. Wargs have a stealth, BA's have a evade skill, and several Freep clasees have them also.
This was highly debated in Closed Beta, and a point of rather huge internet fights. In the end, It was firmly stated by the Turbine Devs that they will not turn off any of the player's abilities (save the conjunctions against MP players) while in Monster Play.
In the over 3 weeks of my played time in the ettenmoors during Beta 2, we found ways of stopping the hunters from getting away, it just took a team effort.. a solo, or even 3 people cannot interrupt enough to stop the skill. Does that suck? That all depends on your outlook.
Worse then the hunters was the guardian's acorn that was not working as intended, and did not have an induction period.
I am in total agreement with Turbine in this stance not to change abilities for the Players - SWG is a testament to the problems of listening to the wants and rages of your playerbase.
