ok so i DL and install utorrent like they say, open it up, and click on both DL links and i still cant get it to come in. i even tried to add the first DL link in the add torrent from url.
even tried with my firewall off, still no luck..
any ideas? been working on it for 2 days now ugh!

no i still have not been able to DL it yet. havent had a chance to try it yet this since im werk (btw first post ever at werk) hehe
i will keep trying once i get home and make sure all my software is off

Hope you can get in before next weekend Massive stress test being advertised with gamespot. That's going to be a nightmare heh

Torrents need to be allowed in your firewall and in your router. Some modems have routers built in so that has to be allowed too. You could use this link to get the stress test client (they are all the same) and download it without screwing around with a torrent. www.gamespot.com/betas/lord_of_the_rings_online/index.phpAnother option is to go to Best Buy and buy the preorder for $10. I haven't got it yet but this was stated by a poster on the LOTR board: "I walked into a local Best Buy, picked up a pre-order box off the shelf, and paid $10 for it. I got a DVD with the Beta client, a pre-order key, a printed keymap, and a fold-out game map."

i will give that link a try today when i get home. i think the closest best buy or big conglomo electronics store (besides super wally werld) is 100miles away.
