need some help with norton internet security

I just got norton internet security 2004 installed on my comp. all was workin well, while i was downloadin' stuff for our player run shard. But for some reason now when i try to log into the internet while i have security enabled it wont let me. Its as if i dont have a internet conn. Now while its enabled, it will let me log into our shard. But i have to disable it to get to msn.com, or to anything on the web for that matter.

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this? Kinda sucks to have a personal firewall that only works for ya like it should while yer ingame and not while yer readin' the local DoJ boards, or tryin' to download stuff.

Stop by in game we will fix you up. You probably refused internet access to IE or netscape (whichever you are using now).
