It would be great if some of ya came and tried it out. Its free, the GM's/owners of the shard are very honest people. Yes it is more into pvp, but...pvm, roleplay, crafting and the likes are all a welcome sight. If we could get a group going, im sure we would fair well. Seems to be no lag at all...world saves are around 1 second. and they hit 220 users online on the first couple days.
There is a trammy town that is completely safe for everyone...reds, blues, factions, chaos/order... you name it. The town is Occlo. They have plenty of lower spawn to collect gold along with regs, weapons, and training weapons/armor. the training armor is cursed along with the training weapons. but the weapons have a high self repair and the training armor has 12% reg reduction one ea. piece. This way you can train up any template you want ...right in trammy town(for the most part at least)
They adjusted certain aspects of the game to make it more level for playing. Like certain modifiers to weps and armor...so they do become as godly in-game. They do have paragons there.
Skills like magery, resist are actually pretty damn easy to gm. I took a guy the other night. Started him with 50 magery/50 provoke. In 24 hours, i gm'd music, peacemake, fencing, anat, and tactics. Using him to collect gold in trammy town so i can work other guys. The fence and tactics i worked by hittin three dummys for 30 minutes....gm'd them. You actually have to sit in front of yer computer for a little while, cuz stats gain quick enough that youll go over what you want if yer not lookin.
Basically what im sayin is....If yer interested in starting a DoJ or help start a DoJ there....with a few exceptions...It is a pvp shard for the most part. So we would truely be defending people. If you would be, then the training part is quite easy enough that you wouldnt be wasting much time on your favorite template for pvm....and even less time on a template to help defence the innocent.
Oh and they allow 2 accounts per IP. About the no lag at all that i mentioned earlier.....Thats comin from a guy thats now playin on a conn. thats 233 kbps down and too embarrassed to say how terrible it is for the conn. goin up, heh.
Anyways, id love to see some of ya come try it out at least. I know we got Asgeroth, but whenever i go there, its just me or maybe one other on. And with the conn. i have along with the silly el' cheapo computer i got....it aint even worth trying the games most of ya have gotten into....or should i say, i tried and it isnt worth trying anymore, heh.
I know i missed some other great things ive noticed there, but you get the gist of it. ;D
