Just wondering if the server is offline, my son has been trying to play all day and can't get in.

I just logged in to check so things are ok on the server end.
Check the usual things like cap locks, password, account name?
Post again with the error message if there is still a problem and maybe we can figure it out.

Alright when I checked it I did it on my pc. I can connect with no problem on my computer. My son's computer will not connect.
The message is Unable to connect to the ultima online servers at this time. Please try again later.
I checked all the settings in UO gateway and razor and they are the same as on my pc. I don't know what could be wrong.

Got a firewall on the one that can't connect? Try turning it off long enough to check.
I assume that computer can access the internet otherwise? I always reboot out of general principles when having any troubles.
You could try uninstalling/reinstalling gateway.

I swear I wish I had never updated to the latest version of zonealarm.
I activated it, because it was off (supposedly), gave the game permission to access the net and viola no problem.
Hehe while Im here do you think it's ok to set my agp to 258 in my bios? I did it already with seemingly no issues but should I watch for anything?

If you want to try the "change it and see what happens" option it won't damage anything. You can effect performance though so it's best to understand what the aperture size really is. The info below should help you decide. Imo, it's more of a technical reference rather than a "real world use" type reference. If your system starts slowing down or starts swapping to hard drive when playing certain games you might want to reduce the aperture size to see if that helps. Your video ram is faster than system ram anyway. But it's all about using your system resources to the best advantage, so whatever works best for you is the best setting. www.rojakpot.com/default.aspx?location=8&var1=0&var2=32
