I've been in Kuwait for about a month now. So far it has been boring, which in a way is good. I leave for Iraq in a week. I suspect that it won't be quite as quiet up yonder.
So what have I been missing? Looks like you all have a player run shard going. Might be nice to play in a twink-less world. If it's still going in six months I'll have to check it out.
Please, reply to this liberally, as I have little human contact out here and it's always good to hear from my 'DoJ family.' I'll try to pop in ever month or two, or as often as I can get to the internet.
Be well, and keep DoJ alive and kicking for when I get back.

Nice to hear from ya mate! As Ms. J said, we are living it up on Asgeroth Isles. It's been a blast. We've been doing Doom Gauntlet runs every night, and Champs just about one a day.
On the flip side however, Catskills is all but dead. Only person I've seen on there has been Arrownine lately. So I guess it's safe to say, Asgeroth Isles is the new Home for DOJ! Ras, Ms. J and company are doing an excellent job. The rest of us are just ejoying the ride and having a blast. But when u get here, you'll see what I mean. Watch your six out there mate and hurry home. We'll hold things down here 'till ya return.
God's speed Hiz!

Hi His!
You take care over there. And use all your tactical training from UO to keep yourself safe.
Looking forward to watching you get turned into a frog when you get back!

It's nice to know that I'm thought of, but it's best not to worry. Things have gotten increasingly nasty here as of late, with a too-close-for-comfort mortar strike yesterday as a fine example. It doesn't help that I'm so close to damn Fallujah. Having said that, most of the danger lies off base. I'm just a nerdy guy who sits in a bunker fixing gear all night long.
I'll try to stay in touch lest you think I've been blown up or something. In all reality, I'm comfortable with the level of safety I enjoy here. I have pictures from the convoy up here I'm going to try to get on the net eventually. It's neat to say the least.
Thanks again for any needless concern. See ya in September.

Good to hear from you. I've been thinking of you and praying for all our servicemen in Iraq and Afghanistan. Keep in touch. I know we all worry about you.
